Cotton futures are mixed this morning, 3 points lower to 4 points higher. They were 13 to 22 points in the green on Monday following triple digit losses on Friday. US cotton exports during the month of November totaled 158,263 MT (872,031 480-lb bales). That is a jump of 62.65% from October but down 11.85% from November 2016. The Cotlook A Index for January 5 was 110 points higher than the previous day at 89.90 cents/lb. Online cash sales of 11,345 bales were reported on the Seam on Friday, with an average price of 67.13 cents/lb, down 412 points from the day prior.
